Urban College of Boston offers flexible online certificate programs. Depending on the course of study, students are required to complete between 18 credits (6 courses) and 27 credits (9 courses). Each of Urban College’s certificates can be applied toward an associate degree.

Urban College of Boston is an open-admission college. This means that any student who has a high school diploma or has successfully completed a GED or HiSET can apply and enroll in study at Urban College.

After we receive your application, we will schedule times for you to meet with an Advisor about your academic goals and with the Financial Services team to discuss available support and make a plan to pay for your courses.
Articulation agreements facilitate Urban College graduates’ entrance into bachelor’s degree programs. An articulation agreement describes when and how a student may be able to transfer to a specific baccalaureate degree program and often includes the entrance and program requirements, which are unique to the partner institution, as well as the expected transfer of courses and credits.
